Half-mile

The next round of UK Dirt Track racing is in South Wales, the half-mile. It's great to race and great to watch.

Boastie's just asked me to add
'Could you just say that any one wishing to enter the only 1/2 mile meeting of the year, that they have only 3 days before the entries close, so please contact the shorttrack office asap if you wish to ride.'

Wol, I was just thinking about you. I was going to email you to tell you about the race. I'm going to the Isle of Man too, but not till the Wednesday after.
And anyway, the Isle of Man is hardly just up the road for you. So you'll travel all the way up there, get a ferry, all that mucking about, but you won't ride across country to see us race?
That is double standards. GI

Holy crap. First it's some two-bit race in the Irish Sea and now what? A wife's sister's birthday? Grown some nuts fellas. See you on the outside of turn 4. I'll be the one with the white knuckles. GI

Hey Griff, what about a train ticket to Amman Valley as a birtday present? Even if they don't come, you've tried...

Griff,
my mate Dai Station could probably sort you out.
There's still one engine running on the Merioneth and Llantisilly line from the top left hand corner of Wales.

I'll see you fellers there! I don't think I'll be bringing any old hardware along this time though.

It's not a dirt oval but I'm also planning on getting along to Aberdare Park on 18-19 Jul - great fun watching em race around the duck pond, rose beds and public loos to win a lump of coal or a miners' lamp!
